Exam Date: December 1, 2008 (10:20am-12:10pm, 114 Berkey Hall)

Exam Contents:

• Part I will consist of six terms. You will choose five of them and for each, explain in a cogent paragraph their definition and significance. Each answer is worth two points for a Part I point total of ten points.
• Part II will consist of an essay question. While there is no suggested length, you must answer the question completely and cogently. Part II of the exam, your essay, is worth ten points.

Evaluation Criteria: You will be graded on your use of evidence and the cogency of your argument.

NOTE: You are responsible for providing your own Blue Books. Makeup exams are only available in situations where students can prove -- with written documentation -- the exigent circumstances or university sanctioned excuse.
