Reading Responses: We will do weekly reading responses.
The responses will be found on our class Blackboard site. The responses
should be completed each week by Monday at midnight. There will
be 15 responses.
2) Group
Projects: We will form groups of 3 to work on projects.
Group members will use their space on Blackboard (Group Discussion
Board) to keep weekly notes on projects. Details about each project
will be discussed in class.
- Project 1:
Interface Contest -- Each group will create a front page and inner
template (theme) for this Web Design site. The class will vote
on the projects and the winning interface theme will replace the
existing one. (details . . .)

Information Resource -- Each group will create an information
resource on one of the following topic areas: interface design,
information architecture, or web usability. The resources will
be added to this web site. (details . . .)

Developer/Client -- Each group will perform two roles. One role
as an organization that wants to develop a web site (client) and
a second role as a web professional (developer). The client will
be responsible for supplying content and design ideas while the
developer will be responsible for creating the web site. (details
